Kyrgyzstan, one of the five Central Asian countries, is a paradise for nature lovers, with towering mountains, pristine lakes, and vast open landscapes. Known as a nation of skilled horse riders, its nomadic culture offers a glimpse into a simpler, authentic way of life. This itinerary also includes Kazakhstan's scenic lakes and valleys, as well as Almaty — Kazakhstan's largest city and former capital, nestled at the northern foothills of the Tianshan Mountains, where stunning peaks rise above the skyline.

Day 1: KUL ✈ Almaty (D) Depart KL international airport to Almaty, Kazakhstan. Arrive Almaty, have dinner then check in hotel and rest. |

Day 2: Almaty – Saty (5hrs) (B,L,D) Almaty city tour, including stops at Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral and Green Bazaar. After lunch, a 3-hour journey to Charyn Canyon. We will venture into Charyn Canyon to marvel at the magnificent panoramic views — a formation shaped over millennia through erosion, characterized by its vibrant hues and formidable cliffs. Day 3: Saty (Kaindy Lake & Kolsai Lake) (B,L,D) Departing from Saty, we will drive along a mountain road (12 km) to reach Kaindy Lake. Situated amidst a magnificent pine forest at an altitude of 2,000 metres above sea level, Kaindy Lake is famous for its submerged forest beneath the water's surface. Kaindy Lake was formed in 1911 due to a powerful earthquake that triggered a landslide, blocking the valley with a natural dam and flooding the area. The next stop, Kolsai Lake, comprises three picturesque alpine lakes enveloped by snow-capped mountains and forested slopes. Stay: Guest House, Saty |

Day 4: Saty (Kazakhstan) – Border Crossing – Karakol (Kyrgyzstan) (B,L,D) We will drive 116 km to the Kazakhstan–Kyrgyzstan border and proceed with our journey to Karakol. After lunch, visit the Dungan Mosque, an extraordinary architectural masterpiece built in 1910 by Chinese craftsmen entirely without the use of nails. Next, continue to the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, a stunning wooden building dating back to the 19th century — admire its classic Russian architectural style, including its golden domes and richly adorned interior. Day 5: Karakol – Altyn Arashan (2hrs 30min) (B,L,D) After breakfast, drive to Altyn Arashan in a Soviet off-road truck along a bumpy mountain road (approx. 2.5 hours one way), ascending to roughly 2,500m above sea level through scenic, picturesque terrain. 'Altyn-Arashan' means 'golden hot spring' in the local language. In the afternoon, soak in the thermal hot springs or take photos in the nearby valley. Stay: Hut (multi-sharing), Altyn Arashan |

Day 6: Altyn Arashan – Karakol (2hrs 30min) (B,L,D) After breakfast, hike back to Karakol while the Soviet truck follows — hop back in anytime if tired or the weather changes. Transfer to the hotel in Karakol. Free and easy after lunch. In the evening, enjoy a Dungan-style dinner hosted by a local Dungan family, offering a unique blend of Arab-Chinese heritage in their cuisine, with hosts sharing insights into Dungan history and origins. Day 7: Karakol – Bokonbaevo (3hrs 30min) (B,L,D) Today, we will set off for Bokonbaevo. Along the way, we will visit Jeti-Oguz, known for its steep cliffs formed by red colossal rocks, resembling seven bulls, hence its name. Next, we will head to the southern end of Lake Issyk-Kul to admire Skazka Canyon, where wind erosion has shaped various colorful formations. After arriving in Bokonbaevo, we will witness an eagle hunting demonstration, where you will meet a local golden eagle hunter showcasing their skills. Overnight in nomadic yurts. Day 8: Bokonbaevo – Naryn (5hrs) (B,L,D) After breakfast, drive to Kochkor town via the Orto Tokoy Water Reserve. This scenic reservoir marks the source of the Chu River, which serves as a natural border between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Upon arrival in Kochkor, lunch at local restaurant before continuing the journey to Naryn town. Stay: Guest House, Naryn |

Day 9: Naryn – Kel Suu (5hrs) (B,L,D) After breakfast, drive to Kok Kiya Valley. On the way, pass through a checkpoint where border guards will check special permits and passports, as Kel Suu is located in a strategic area near the border with China. Continue through mountainous landscapes to reach Kel Suu. Free time in the afternoon. Stay: Hut, Kel Suu |

Day 10: Kel Suu – Naryn (5hrs) (B,L,D) After breakfast, we will start horseback riding to Kel Suu Lake (1.5–2 hours one way). Day 12: Bishkek ✈ KUL (B) After breakfast, start a city tour. Visit Osh Bazaar and then head to the Grand Mosque of Bishkek (Central Mosque), an impressive modern Islamic structure that seamlessly blends traditional Ottoman architecture with contemporary design. Transfer to the airport to catch a flight to KL. |

第七天: 卡拉库尔 – 博肯巴伊沃(3.5小时)(早午晚) 今天将启程前往博肯巴伊沃。途中参观以陡峭的红色巨岩著称的七公牛岩(Jeti-Oguz),形似七头公牛而得名。接着前往Issyk-Kul湖南岸的Skazka峡谷,经风蚀而塑造出色彩斑斓的奇特岩石景观。抵达Bokonbaevo,观赏猎鹰狩猎表演,见证当地驯鹰师的传统技艺。当晚入住蒙古包。 住宿: 博肯巴伊沃(蒙古包,多人间) |
