Day 1

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur/Singapore ✈ Xining (Meal on board)

Day 2

Day 2: Xining (B,L)

Enjoy a full-day tour of Xining. Visit Ta'er Temple (including shuttle service), one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, renowned for its "Three Unique Arts" — butter sculptures, murals, and appliqué work, all exquisitely handcrafted and visually striking. Continue to Dongguan Grand Mosque, originally built in the early Ming Dynasty, showcasing a harmonious blend of traditional Chinese and Islamic architecture. Its grand prayer hall accommodates thousands of worshippers, while the Tibetan-style minaret and Chinese pavilion create a distinctive architectural contrast.

Afterward, explore a local market to experience authentic daily life in Xining and sample a variety of regional snacks. Dinner is at your own arrangement.

Stay: Xining

Day 3

Day 3: Xining – Qinghai Lake (Journey: 2.5hrs) – Chaka (Journey: 3.5hrs) (B,L,D)

Qinghai Lake is China's largest inland saltwater lake, situated at an elevation of 3,196 meters and covering an area of over 4,400 square kilometers. Its deep blue waters change with the light, creating beautiful views alongside distant snow-capped mountains. Visit the Erlangjian Scenic Area, where a boat cruise is included, offering a unique perspective of the lake's vastness and pristine beauty, often referred to as the "blue jewel of the plateau." After the visit, continue by road to Chaka, and check in to the hotel after dinner.

Stay: Chaka

Day 4

Day 4: Chaka – Geermu (Journey: 6.5hrs) (B,L,D)

After breakfast, visit Chaka Salt Lake, known as the "Mirror of the Sky" (including a mini train ride). On clear days, the lake reflects the sky and clouds like a giant mirror. A small train runs through the scenic area, allowing visitors to travel deeper into the lake, where shimmering salt crystals lie beneath your feet and snow-capped mountains meet the horizon, an ideal setting for photography. After the visit, continue by road to Geermu.

Stay: Geermu

Day 5

Day 5: Geermu – Kekexili – Geermu (B,L,D)

Known as the "Ancestor of All Mountains," Kunlun offers vast landscapes of glaciers, canyons, and alpine meadows, giving a real sense of remoteness and adventure. The area is rich in cultural mythology and is home to wildlife such as Tibetan antelopes and wild yaks, living in this untouched environment. Along the way, we will visit Kunlun Sacred Spring, famous for its clear water that never freezes. We then continue to Wuxi Longfeng Palace, a cultural site blending traditional Chinese and Taoist elements, set against the dramatic mountain scenery. Finally, enjoy a panoramic view of the remote Kekexili wilderness from the memorial monument.

Stay: Geermu

Day 6

Day 6: Geermu – Dunhuang (Journey: 7hrs) (B,L,D)

Visit Chaerhan Salt Lake (including shuttle service), the largest salt lake in Asia and the second largest in the world. Under the bright plateau sunlight, the lake comes alive with stunning colors. Different mineral content and microorganisms create shades of emerald green, turquoise, and deep blue, forming a landscape that feels almost unreal. Some areas look like flowing green waves, while others shine in rich blue tones, giving the lake its nickname, "nature's color palette." After the visit, continue by road to Dunhuang.

Stay: Dunhuang

Day 7

Day 7: Dunhuang (B,L)

Today's full-day tour in Dunhuang begins with a visit to the Mogao Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (including shuttle service). Known as one of the world's greatest collections of Buddhist art, the Mogao Caves showcase centuries of history and are considered a highlight of the Silk Road. In the afternoon, visit Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring. Experience the striking contrast between the desert dunes and the clear spring that has never dried up (including a camel ride and a one-way shuttle). In the evening, visit Shazhou Night Market, sample local specialties such as donkey meat noodles, apricot drink, and lamb skewers, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

Continue to Jiayuguan Pass (including round-trip shuttle). As the western starting point of the Ming Great Wall, it is known as the "First and Greatest Pass Under Heaven." The fortress is well preserved, with its walls, inner city, and watchtowers still intact.
