Tunisian Splendor Tour (12 Days 10 Nights)

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur/Singapore ✈ Tunis (Meals on Board)

Depart from Kuala Lumpur/Singapore on a flight to Tunis. Arrive in the capital of Tunisia, transfer to the hotel for rest.

Day 2: Tunis City Tour (B,L)

Discover Tunisia's rich artistic heritage at the Bardo Museum, home to the world's most extensive collection of Roman mosaics. Stroll through the Medina of Tunis (World Heritage Site) the historical and cultural heart of the modern city of Tunis. Conclude the day in modern Tunis, where elegant boulevards and colonial architecture reflect the city's layered identity.

Day 3: Day Trip to Carthage & Sidi Bou Said (B,L)

Step into history at Carthage, once a powerful empire that rivaled Rome. Explore its ancient ruins, including baths, ports, and amphitheaters overlooking the Mediterranean. In the afternoon, explore the iconic village of Sidi Bou Said, famous for its white-and-blue architecture, panoramic sea views, and artistic ambiance.

Day 4: Tunis -- Kairouan (Journey: 4hrs) (B,L,D)

Travel to Testour, a unique town that was built by Muslims and Jews who fled Spain during the Reconquista. The town has a unique 400-year-old mosque. Its clock rotates counter-clockwise and its minaret is adorned with two Stars of David. We will also visit the tunisian cheese market. Continue to Dougga, Tunisia's most spectacular Roman archaeological site. Set amidst rolling hills, its temples, theatre, and streets remain beautifully preserved. Hosted lunch in Teboursouk, the region known for its olive oil traditions. Tunisia is ranked among the Top 3 largest organic olive oil producer in the world. After lunch, journey onward to Kairouan.

Day 5: Kairouan -- Tozeur (Journey: 4hrs 30min) (B,L,D)

Explore Kairouan, one of Islam's holiest cities. Visit the Great Mosque and the impressive Aghlabid Basins water system. Wander through the Medina, where traditional crafts such as carpet weaving and pottery continue to thrive. Savor a traditional Tunisian lunch and enjoy Kairouan's famous pastries. In the afternoon, travel south to Tozeur, an oasis town on the edge of the Sahara.

Day 6: Tozeur (B,L,D)

After a relaxed morning, we will take part in a cooking class, learning to prepare traditional Tunisian dishes, followed by a date-tasting experience and lunch. Tunisian dates are referred to as the "queen of all dates" due to their translucent light color and soft, honey-like taste and are highly prized worldwide. In the afternoon, explore the mountain oases of Chebika, Ong Jemal, or Mides by 4WD, visiting natural springs, desert landscapes, and Star Wars filming locations. Return to hotel after finish the tour.

Overnight: Tozeur

Day 7: Tozeur -- Chott El Jerid -- Sahara desert camp (Journey: 3hrs) (B,L,D)

After breakfast, explore the vibrant local market of Tozeur Medina. Then travel across the vast salt flats of Chott El Jerid, the largest salt flat in the African Sahara. Arrive in Douz, the gateway to the Sahara, proceed onward to our desert camp. Enjoy a short camel ride, experiencing the timeless pace of desert travel. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Berber dinner at the camp - creating an unforgettable highlight of the journey, offering a true taste of Saharan hospitality and atmosphere.

Day 8: Sahara desert camp -- Matmata (Journey: 6hrs) (B,L,D)

After breakfast, set off to Ksar Hadada. Visit Ksar Hadada, a historic fortified granary and famous Star Wars filming location for Mos Espa's Slave Quarters Episode 1. Continue to Chenini, a breathtaking Berber village built into the mountainside, offering insight into traditional desert life. Continuing to Matmata via Toujane, another traditional berber village. Visit Matmata, the site of the fascinating underground dwellings of the Berbers

Overnight: Matmata Troglodyte Hotel

Day 9: Matmata -- Sousse (Journey: 4hrs) (B,L,D)

After breakfast, set off for El Jem Amphitheatre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the largest and best-preserved Roman amphitheaters in the world. Continue to the coastal city of Sousse, where Mediterranean views and relaxation await.

Overnight: Sousse

Day 10: Sousse -- Tunis (Journey: 2hr) (B.L)

Explore the historic Medina of Sousse (Word Heritage Site), rich in culture and architectural beauty. Visit of the Ribat and Islamic defensive structure. It is the oldest ribat built by the Arab conquerors during the Muslim conquest of the Maghreb. After lunch, drive back to Tunis, free and easy.

Day 11: Tunis ✈ Kuala Lumpur/Singapore (B)

Enjoy a leisurely morning before transfer to the airport for departure. End of Journey.

第7天：托泽尔－杰里德盐湖－撒哈拉沙漠营地（车程：3小时）（早午晚）

第8天：撒哈拉沙漠营地－马特马他（车程：6小时）（早午晚）

第10天：苏塞－突尼斯（车程：2小时）（早午）

探索苏塞历史悠久的麦地那（联合国教科文组织世界遗产），这里充满文化底蕴与精美的建筑之美。参观Ribat及其伊斯兰防御性建筑结构，这是阿拉伯征服者在伊斯兰征服马格里布时期建造的最古老里巴特之一。午餐后驱车返回突尼斯市，之后自由活动。
